(_A poem dedicated to life)
Hark! In existence, one must needs acquire,
To truly fathom the worth of what may transpire.
For without the taste of loss, the value of gain is naught,
And without the chains of bondage, freedom’s worth is fraught.
Deception, though despised, reveals the virtue of truth,
And the longing for life unveils fortune’s golden sleuth.
In the absence of light, the brilliance is unveiled,
And in the silence of sound, sweet melodies are hailed.
Companionship, in solitude’s absence, finds its worth,
And contentment, born of longing, brings joy to the earth.
For without the toil and struggle, ease is but a dream,
And wisdom, in its absence, loses its gleam.
Thus, cherish every experience, be it joy or woe,
For in its presence, its counterpart’s value shall grow.
In this grand tapestry of life, each thread has its role,
And through contrast and balance, the true beauty unfolds.
